NSCAD University is continuing to closely monitor the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. As always, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our community, on and off campus. We are planning for several reopening stages to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to update the community regularly to keep you informed of additional measures. Below are various resources that you can keep up to date, to help us create a safe and healthy work and learning experience for everyone. This page will also give insight of what our campuses will look like in regards to signage and posters and what will be expected of our NSCAD community.

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of COVID-19 exposure at a list of locations across Halifax and surrounding areas. Please review each group of locations for specific instruction for those present at the dates and times listed.

As of July 31st 2020, mandatory masks are required in indoor public places in Nova Scotia, in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 as the province reopens. This includes universities, such as NSCAD. For more information on mask requirements in Nova Scotia please visit this link.
