Our COVID-19 Response: Resources

NSCAD University is continuing to closely monitor the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. As always, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our community, on and off campus. We are planning for several reopening stages to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to update the community regularly to keep you informed of additional measures. Below are various resources that you can keep up to date, to help us create a safe and healthy work and learning experience for everyone.  This page will also give insight of what our campuses will look like in regards to signage and posters and what will be expected of our NSCAD community.

Mask Requirement:

As of July 31st 2020,  mandatory masks are required in indoor public places in Nova Scotia, in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 as the province reopens. This includes universities, such as NSCAD.  For more information on mask requirements in Nova Scotia please visit this link.

In order to support this requirement, Occupational Health and Safety has created a safe work practice to give guidance and help unsure your mask will provide proper safety.  Signage will be posted around our campuses such as below:
